In an interactive process, I use a strengths-based approach and Universal Design approach with my clients, to discuss the tasks and challenges that are a priority for them in academic, professional, and other settings
To choose the tools that best fit an individual's needs, we’ll factor in their skill and comfort level with technology and the strategies, and the technology they are currently using

BGS education with an emphasis in Special Ed. from Gonzaga University in 1997
25+ years of experience as an Assistive Technology Specialist in K-12, Community College University, and the Community providing assessments, support, and training on assistive technology and strategies for students, faculty, staff, and community members
Earned technology certifications and loves to explore new and emerging technologies and strategies that promote success
Knowledgable about Microsoft, Apple, and Android products across various platforms and devices,
Collaborating with technology companies to explore new and emergent apps and software
Creating FAQ’s and support materials for clients across abilities
Using an interactive, strengths-based approach to research and recommend effective technology and strategies
Evaluations, consulting, and recommending technology accommodations and support for Community College and University Students, students, faculty, and staff
Guiding the application of the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act(ADAA) and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as well as institutional policy at the Community College and University level
